AccuDraw - Construction Loan Management Software

AccuDraw is a construction loan monitoring system. Their clients use a desktop application to enter, view, and report on construction loans. The data is sent to a central database on a web server where authorized individuals can view the construction loan data.

InteSource - Auction Web Site Development

Created the next version of a business-to-business reverse auction website. This site allows grocery suppliers to bid on business from top grocery stores from around the nation.

Developed COM+ objects to interface with Active Server Pages and MS SQL Server. The COM+ objects were used as the business layer in the site’s multi-tiered environment. I also created COM+ objects to send email, and parse and display XML files.

Part Inventory/ Failure Analysis

Develop a web and client/server application that tracked the part and system inventory for the Land Warrior weapon system. The weapon system is a new communication, navigation, and weapon sight system for the U.S. Army. The members of the engineering team needed to know what system was working and where the systems/parts where located at. The site could be accessed throught the Internet.

The web site was developed using Active Server Pages, JavaScript, HTML, Remote Scripting, and MS SQL Server. We developed COM+ objects for the low level security issues for the site. The site used the web component of Crystal Reports to deliver hight quality reports to the team members.

Developed a client/server application that matched the functionality of the Internet site and connected with the SQL Server. This program was used internally instead of connecting to the Internet site.

Golf News Web Development

Created a web site focused on collecting and showing current golfing news and scores. This site was developed using Microsoft Transaction Server, Visual Basic, InterDev, Active Server Pages, and SQL Server. The COM+ objects were developed using Visual Basic.

The site collected sporting news in XML format from http://www.wavo.com. The XML documents where reviewed, then stored in the Microsoft SQL Server database. The content of the site was driven off the database and the web site administrators could change the web content at will, using a special admin section of the web site.

Imagetag - TIFF Image Manipulation

Developed server side objects that were used to manipulate TIFF images. Client side applications talk with these objects and pass image data to the objects through RDS. The objects can add or remove pages from the TIFF image files, and return information about the TIFF images.

Vehicle Inspections

Developed a custom client/server applications for the Arizona Department of Transportation. The applications assisted the Motor Vehicle Department to track vehicle inspections and lost vehicle titles. The field inspectors input serial numbers into the system and the numbers are matched against known stolen parts and vehicles.

Order Entry

Developed a custom order entry, shipping, and reporting application for a large catalog company. Telephone operators used the system to enter customer information and select the products the customer wanted to buy. This information was sent to the warehouse and printed for the shipping department. Several specialized reports were developed for account and management needs.

Y2K Remediation

Created a system in Visual Basic that scans an entire corporate network for the desired files for remediation. When a designated file is found, the information is put into an Oracle database.

Developed a web site using Active Server Pages (ASP), JavaScript, and HTML for managers and users to view and remediate files found on the corporate network. The managers have access to special web pages to assign files to users and track the process of remediation. The users have access to web pages that show what files should be remediated and to enter the progress of remediation.

The users can download an Access database from the web site containing information about the files that needed to be remediated. I developed a Visual Basic application that interfaces with a third party application and pushes this new information to the third party application.

FirstPlace Software - Web Analysis

Worked with a team of developers on the next release of the web analysis tool from FirstPlace. This tool can assist in raising a domain’s web page position in search engines. WebPosition reports back the top sites for keyword searches, and verifies that your selected site is listed in the search engines. The underlying program captures information from web search engines and dynamically creates HTML pages that are displayed in the user’s web browser.
